How to get a visa for Cambodia?

To enter Cambodia, you’ll need a valid passport and a Cambodian visa. Tourist and business visas in Cambodia are valid for one month from the day of entrance. Tourists can get a Cambodian visa at all main border crossings, as well as at airports in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.

The Khmer people live in the Kingdom of Cambodia, a Southeast Asian nation bordering Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. When the bustle of city life becomes too loud, you may explore the welcoming rural areas, which are home to beautiful historic temples, a distinct culture, and other attractions. But do Indians require a visa in order to enter this stunning nation? If so, how are you going to obtain a visa?

Who needs a visa for Cambodia?

The majority of international visitors, including newborns and children, will require a visa (the price is the same as for adults). You can enter Cambodia without a visa for up to 30 days if you are from an ASEAN nation and have a passport from Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam. The length of time depends on the nation.

You must apply for a visa in advance at the nearest Cambodian embassy in your home country if you are from Afghanistan, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, or Sudan, according to official guidelines (although all but citizens of Nigeria can apply online for an e-visa a minimum of 20 working days in advance). The criteria for obtaining a visa are far more onerous for nationals of these nations. You will require a return ticket as well as a sponsor letter or letter of invitation from a company or group, at the very least. Be warned that many visas for Cambodia are actually rejected upon arrival, despite the fact that citizens of African nations are officially qualified.
