  3. Seek to become permanent residents of Canada.

Each province or territory has its own unique immigration streams and requirements, often targeting categories such as students, business professionals, skilled workers, or semi-skilled workers.

Canada family sponsorship

Your family members can reside, study, and work in Canada once they achieve permanent residency status. If you are at least 18 years old and fall into one of the following categories, you can sponsor specific relatives to immigrate to Canada:

  1. A Canadian citizen
  2. An individual registered in Canada as an Indian under the Canadian Indian Act.
  3. A permanent resident of Canada

LMIA Work Visa

Canada may need a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) before employing a foreign worker. A good LMIA shows that the job requires a foreign worker. It will also reflect that no Canadian or permanent resident may work. To get an LMIA, the employer must apply.

Quebec selected skilled workers

This program for immigrants is only for people who want to live in Quebec. You need to get a Quebec Selection Certificate from the Government of Quebec and follow their rules in order to get this pass.

Requirements to migrate to Canada

Canadians born in Canada automatically become citizens, whereas foreigners must apply to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.
